DLM to Build the Moulouya Composite Bridge, a first in Morro
The project consists of a composite bridge over River Moulouya, including the manufacture and assembly on site of the metal Beam frame of a Composite steel-concrete bridge, supported on 9 supports, including 7 Columns of 12 m in height each. The steel structure is composed of 76 main beams, each with a length between 19 and 30 meters.
The realisation of this Job will be done in three stages, Fabrication in Workshop, Erection and mounting on a platform front of support, and launch of the whole frame above the supporting piles using a system of cables and winches traction. To Date Jan, 11th, DLM performed the first run of 226 m in length and weighing 600 tons. Once the remaining 225 meters (of the total 441 meters) assembly will be be completed on the platform, the second run will move the complete bridge into final position on the column support (the total weight of the metal frame is 1,200 tonnes). At last, a vertical jacking operation will put the Steel Frame on permanent supports, allowing Main contractor TEC to begin pouring the concrete road deck. The same operations will be done a second time, for the second Steel frame of the Bridge (second lane of the motorway)
The National Highway linking Fez to Oujda is an important Part of the national Higway network of Morocco. It will extend the Existing Way Rabat, Meknes, Fez, already in use, to finally create a long east-west Highway Axis.

New crane LTM 1160-2 LIEBHERR
New acquisition for DLM of a crane LTM 1160-2 LIEBHERR.
It’s a mobile crane, any ground, intended for applications combined on road and building site with a maximum load capacity of 160 T.
The lengths of the principal telescopic boom go from 13,2m to 62m.
The extended lattice boom offer heights under hook and additional ranges of 5,4m to 43 Mr.
The purchase of this crane allow to DLM to increase its capability in heavy lifting and high assembling operation.

LAVERIE MEA
DLM participe à la construction de la laverie MEA de Khourigba pour le groupe OCP.
La station de Khouribga permettra à elle seule la réutilisation de quelque 5 millions de m3 des eaux usées épurées par an.

Résultats Financiers du 1er semestre 2009
DLM, des résultats semestriels en ligne avec son Business plan.
L’activité du 1er semestre à 293,4 MDH est restée très soutenue, en ligne avec le 1er semestre 2008 (318,8 MDH, - 8%) .
Le Chiffre d’Affaires est en forte hausse + 73,4 % à 253,7 MDH du fait de la méthode comptable utilisée, comptabilisation à l’achèvement, le calendrier de clôture des différents projets influe sur le chiffre d’affaires semestriel….

Participation de DLM à la creation de l'association marocaine du soudage et appareils à pression "AMS-AP"
Une nouvelle association de soudage et appareils à pression a vu le jour, il s'agit de "AMS-AP" : Association Marocaine du Soudage et Appareils à Pression dont DLM a non seulement été un des membres fondateurs mais aussi un des présents au conseil d'administration où nous sommes représentés par Mr Jean-Marie Guénégo.
L’AMS-AP est une association ayant pour but principal d'assurer la représentation au niveau national du Métier et des professionnels auprès des acteurs économiques, instances réglementaires et normatives ainsi que des pouvoirs publics.

DLM and EIGSICA sign a partnership agreement
The growing need for engineering skills required by DLM’s development over the coming years has led the company to negotiate a partnership with EIGSICA, an engineering school active in Morocco. The agreement will engender real and lasting cooperation in the interests of both parties, with regard to professional insertion of future engineers and to training of and support for our more experienced colleagues and managerial staff.
EIGSICA is a private French engineering school offering 3 years of training in Casablanca and 2 years in La Rochelle.

Publication of financial results for 2008
DLM just published its financial results for 2008
DLM’s annual revenue rose by 22.3% to 562.1 million DH.
Net profit soared to 21.79 million DH – growth of 53.6% against 2007.
Increase in equity capital due to the IPO of May 2008, with DLM equity capital before distribution going up by 68.046 million dirhams to 173.967 MDH, a rise of 155.7%.

Senegal cement works
New export contract for DLM: construction of a cement works in Senegal
DLM just signed a contract worth 11 million euros with the Senegalese company Ciments du Sahel.
DLM was awarded manufacture of the main filter, hopper, crusher and structural steelwork. The first parts, which are currently under construction in the Aïn Sebaâ workshops, will be transported to Senegal by land and sea to be assembled by our specialized teams in situ.

Oil platform
Dispatch of the first oil platform constructed in Morocco for the Republic of Congo
The first oil platform made in Morocco by DLM is now ready to leave for the Republic of Congo.
The shipment barge was loaded on Thursday 11 December 11.
After 14 months’ manufacture and assembly in the workshops, the "Emeraude Pilote Vapeur" platform made for the company CONGOREP will leave Morocco in a few days time.
It will take “Emeraude Pilote Vapeur” a month to make the crossing on board the semi-submersible barge to reach the Emeraude oil field offshore of the Republic of Congo.

Cement plant in Beni Mellal
DLM has been awarded to build the new cement works for the Sefrioui Group.
DLM concluded a contract worth around 207 million dirhams with Polysius SAS France for construction of a cement works in Béni Mellal. The contract covers work for assembly of mechanical components and structural steelwork for the future cement works on the site belonging to Ciment de l'Atlas (CIMAT), subsidiary of the Addoha Group. DLM is also in charge of manufacturing technical components for the two CIMAT projects in Béni Mellal and Ben Ahmed.
